In this course, you will learn in 10 weeks how to conduct short conversations with Dutch speaking people. You will also be taught how to make a negative sentence and you will practice telling a short story in the past tense. You will be introduced to prepositions of place and how to ask people for clarification if you do not understand something. You will learn how to make more complex sentences with the help of conjunctions. Expanding your vocabulary and applying basic grammar are an essential part of the curriculum.

For whom: Students who have completed the base level 1 course and have obtained a CEFR level of A1.

Frequency, duration, day and time:  Twice a week during 10 weeks. The first lesson is in the week of 22 April unless noted otherwise. You can choose one of these groups:

In the 'busy people' courses, there is a little less emphasis on doing homework outside of class, though it's still recommended.
