In this extensive 7-week course you will learn to have short conversations with Dutch-speaking people. You will be taught how to make a negative sentence and you will be able to tell a short story in the past tense. You will be introduced to prepositions of place and you can ask people for clarification if you do not understand something. You will learn how to make more complex sentences using conjunctions. You can also give a description of your day. Expanding your vocabulary and applying basic grammar are the key elements.
For whom: Course participants who have completed the 'Uitgebreid Nederlands' A1 course or otherwise have a CEFR level A1 and want to improve their level of Dutch to a CEFR level A2 at a fast pace with more attention to details.
Result after the course: In the follow-up course you will learn to write, read, speak and listen at ERK level A2. In only 7 weeks you will be able to talk with Dutch speakers about e.g. your work or education. Your vocabulary and grammatical knowledge will be extended so that it will be much easier to express yourself in different social contexts using a series of commonly used phrases. Your pronunciation, including that of words such as "Scheveningen", will be much more natural.
