Spanish Básico 2/EN is aimed at students who prefer English as the language of instruction. It is the second part of the basic course Spanish (CEFR A1 level). The complete A1 level consists of 3 parts. Spanish Básico 2 builds upon knowledge gained in Spanish Básico 1. Emphasis is on perfecting pronunciation, mastery of the basic grammatical structures, and increased communicative proficiency. 

For whom: Beginners with some knowledge of Spanish or students who took the Spanish Básico 1. When in doubt, please contact us for an intake to determine for level.

Result after the course: You know more (ir)regular verbs and can make sentences using the past participle. You can for directions, make inquiries about public transport, order food and drinks in a restaurant and tell the time. During the course you've practiced listening to Spanish texts, so you understand what native speakers are saying. You are able to do a short speech on a familiar topic.

Frequency, duration, day and time:  Once a week during 11 weeks. The first lesson is in the week of 20 January unless noted otherwise. You can choose one of these groups:
