TaalTaal offers quality Hebrew courses on several levels. Our groups are small and dynamic, so you will have lots of personal attention and guidance.
The new season starts in the week of 21 January 2019 and consists of 11 lessons of 90 minutes.
It is possible to sign up for a course that is already running. Please take into account about 2.5 hours of self-study next to the regular courses.

Result after the course: You know how to read and write the 'alephbet'. You learn basic grammar rules such as personal pronouns, adjectives and verbs in the present tense. You are able to have short conversations in Hebrew and you can read short texts and answer questions about the content. Please note that this course is not for Biblical Hebrew. The book (exclusive) can usually be used for multiple courses.
Frequency, duration, day and time: Once a week during 11 weeks: Tuesday between 18:30 and 20:00 hrs
For whom: You know more verbs in the present tense and have been introduced to prepositions. You can do your shopping at the supermarket and post office, tell the time and know the days of the week. You learn about places in Israel and the weather You are able to give a short speech on a familiar topic.
Frequency, duration, day and time: Once a week during 11 weeks: Tuesday between 20:00 and 21:30 hrs
Result after the course: You have a larger vocabulary, which enables you to ask more complexed questions and use opposites. You are introduced to the past tense. You’re able to talk about your trips, understand directions and write a short letter/email.
Frequency, duration, day and time: Once a week during 11 weeks: Monday between 18:30 and 20:00 hrs
Result after the course: You can speak about different topics. You are able to formulate questions about texts and to voice your opinion. Your listening skills will have improved. Your vocabulary will have broadened and you will be abble to speak much more freely. You can participate in group discussions and make yourself understood.
Frequency, duration, day and time: Once a week during 11 weeks: Friday between 18:30 and 20:00 hrs
Description: An intensive course is given privately (for 1 person) and consists of 15 contact hours divided over 1 or 2 weeks, for example 5 consecutive days of 3 hours each. The exact configuration can be discussed with the teacher for best possible results. Please do take into account time needed for self-study and homework.
