Themes covered in levels 5 to 9 include asking for directions, shopping, being sick and daily routines. Each lesson contains a dialogue, new words, linguistic and cultural information and exercises. The book concludes with a grammar section and glossaries. A grammar section has been added to the back of the book. Also audio fragments and new words have been added to the lessons. Each chapter contains a language guide with information about the Chinese language. Furthermore, there is extra practice material on the website. In this course (level 5) we teach 2 topics (Visiting and Calling), these two topics consist of 6 texts.

Frequency, duration, day and time:  Once a week during 11 weeks. The first lesson is in the week of 29 April unless noted otherwise. You can choose one of these groups:
